I laughed at him, but then I tried glue and dowels on a cherry vanity for a customer in Parma and those joints came out dead flat with zero creep at the seams. Now I'm 6 cabinets in with a Dowelmax and I'm not going back. Anyone here still running pocket screws on painted frames only, or did you switch over completely?
