That one Monday where everything went right in the shop
Last Monday I had three cabinets to assemble and thought I'd be there until 8 PM. The dado cuts on my panel saw lined up perfect on the first pass, no chipping or tear out. Even the Blum hinge cup drilling on the new jig went smooth, zero adjustment needed. By 3 PM I was done and cleaned up, which never happens. Has anyone else had a day where the tools just cooperate?

Oh man, that sounds like pure magic (and honestly, I'm a little jealous). But I gotta gently call you out on the Blum hinge cups thing. New jig or not, "zero adjustment needed" is a tall tale I've never seen come true. Even on a good day, I always have to tweak the depth or the alignment a hair, especially with the self-closing hinges. I've had mornings where my 32mm system line up feels like a gift from the woodworking gods, but the hinges always need at least one tiny turn of that little screw. So I'm betting you got real close to perfect, but maybe you just forgot that one teeny twist you made. Still, getting done by 3 on a cabinet day is a win I'd shout from the roof.
