That one customer who actually watched me work the whole time
Had a job last month in a little town outside Tulsa where this old guy pulled up a chair and just watched me terminate coax for 45 minutes without saying a word, then at the end he just nodded and said "you take your time, that's good." Anybody else get those quiet customers who somehow make your whole day better just by paying attention?

Damn, 45 minutes? That's wild. Ngl I would've been sweating bullets the whole time thinking I was doing something wrong. Tbh those quiet watchers are the most unnerving but also the most rewarding when they finally speak up. It's like they're actually appreciating the craft instead of just wanting it done fast. That nod at the end must have felt like winning a championship or something.

Read somewhere that quiet watchers like that are rare, but they really notice the details others miss.
