Stripped a tiny screw on a shutter curtain drum today
Was fixing a beat-up Minolta from the 80s and that one stupid screw just gave out. Anyone got a good trick for getting those out when they're totally shot?

Ugh those tiny screws are the worst. @singh.harper hit it right, they strip if you even look at them wrong. One trick that's saved me is using a tiny flathead screwdriver and pressing down hard while turning real slow, it can catch the edge enough to get some grip.

Actually I've had way more luck with those tiny screws than the medium sized ones, they just need the right bit and steady pressure. @singh.harper I'm with you on the frustration though, probably just depends on the specific hardware or driver you're using.
