I called bull on the $8 foam pad hype for 2 seasons, then froze my butt off in Buena Vista
Everyone on here kept saying closed cell foam pads are useless, so I kept using my $120 inflatable. Then it got a slow leak at a site outside Buena Vista in March and I slept on cold ground at 28 degrees. Borrowed a buddy's cheap blue foam pad and stacked it under my inflatable and I actually slept warm. So which is it, are foam pads junk or are we all just using them wrong?

Good grief, stacking em is the move, foam alone never cut it for me.
