My favorite coffee shop's quiet return after that health code issue

I've been going to Brew & Bloom on 5th for almost 4 years, so when they got shut down last March for a roach problem, I figured I'd never go back. But last week I walked past and saw they reopened with a new owner and a brand new kitchen. They got canceled on local forums pretty hard, but honestly, they've been transparent about the fix and posted their inspection reports right on the counter. I gave them another shot and the espresso was actually better than before, so I guess I'm wondering, do you all think a business can come back cleanly if they own up to the mess, or is trust just gone for good?
