When I got fired, it actually helped my career move up
Tbh, I was let go from my sales job six months ago. Honestly, I was upset and worried about money. Ngl, looking back, losing that job made me try something new. For example, I started learning about digital design online. Now I have a remote job that I like way more. What do you think? Has a tough career moment ever worked out for you?

Totally! I got cut from a team years back and it felt awful at first. But it made me stop and really think about what I wanted to do next, not just what I was stuck doing. I used the sudden free time to try a couple online classes, just to see what stuck. That scramble to figure things out actually pushed me toward a much better fit. Sometimes you need that hard shove to get moving in a new direction.

Man, getting laid off from a gig years ago felt like a disaster! But it shoved me into starting my own thing. Now I'm my own boss, which is awesome until I remember I'm a terrible employee.
