Hot take: the guy at the supply house in Reno told me to stop stretching from the middle of the hall
I was fighting a 40 foot run with a knee kicker for two hours before he walked over and showed me to start at the seam and work outward, and my bubbles cut in half. Anyone else get taught one way and flip it once someone actually watches you work?
Been there man, some old timer watched me burn through a whole box of staples fighting carpet the wrong way and finally just took the kicker from me. Two hours of cussing and sweating and the fix was just starting at the seam and pushing out. Weird how nobody teaches you that stuff til someone actually stands there watching you screw it up.
