Sun bleached shag sounds like a 70s nightmare.

Nah, sun bleached shag is timeless. That faded, worn-in look has way more character than the stiff, overprocessed stuff people go for now.

Read somewhere that sun-faded carpets were a whole vibe in beach rentals back then (yikes).
