The $200 PR firm apology for that restaurant owner still bugs me
I saw a local chef in Austin put out a video apology after yelling at a customer, and it was clearly scripted by the crisis team he paid $200 an hour for. The guy blinked at every pause and used words like 'take accountability' without once naming what he did wrong. Compare that to the actress who filmed her apology in her car with a cracked phone screen last week, she actually looked sick over her comments. Which one makes you trust it more, the polished tear or the shaky voice? Has anyone else noticed the price tag on these videos changes how fake they feel?
