Bought a $200 press-on nail kit from that Instagram brand everyone raves about... total disaster
I fell for the ads hard, you know? They showed these perfect almond-shaped nails lasting two weeks, no chips. I ordered the full set for $200 with the glue and prep stuff. First nail popped off after I washed my hands once, like literally within an hour. I followed their video tutorial step by step, buffed my nails, used the dehydrator, everything. By day three, half of them were gone and I found one floating in my coffee mug. I'm so mad because I could have gone to a salon for that price and gotten acrylics that actually stay. Has anyone else had luck with those press-on kits or is this just a scam for everyone?

Oh man, that's rough but honestly I think the heat from your hands is what kills press-ons. The glue softens up from body temp way faster than they let on.
