My own sign game is weak too, I once made a sign for my woodshop that just said "not a hardware store" and people still walked in asking if I sold screws. Half the battle at these events is folks only knowing the one thing they saw in a movie once. A sign can list every single thing you do and somebody will still ask about the one thing you do not.

Thrift and flea market folks who've been in the game for years can spot a good label from ten feet away, so either he was lazy or he just wanted it gone.
