I saw a post claiming they got married in a private ceremony in Tulum last weekend, but the only source was a fan account with 200 followers. I checked, and their actual publicist said they're just on vacation. What's the wildest rumor you've seen that fell apart with one fact check?

Oh man, I saw one that said a famous actor was retiring to become a goat farmer. One quick look at his Instagram showed him on a movie set that same week. It was so random.

Honestly, I used to believe a lot of that stuff. Like when everyone said that one director was making a secret sequel to that old movie. I was totally convinced. Then someone just linked to an interview where he flat out said he hated the original and would never touch it. It really showed me how a whole story can get built on absolutely nothing.

Wasn't there a whole thing about that author secretly writing under a different name? People had all these "clues" and a deep dive blog post went viral. Then the real author of those other books just posted a selfie from their own house, like, "Hey, it's me." Felt bad for everyone who spent hours on that theory.
