Found an old gossip column from 1998 and the 'unnamed source' was the guy's own publicist
Spent a slow Sunday at the library going through microfilm from the Akron Beacon Journal, and a blind item about a 'famous couple' matched a press release that ran 2 days later almost word for word. Made me wonder how many big reveals back in the day were just planted, does anyone else check the timeline when a story feels too tidy?
