Rant: Gossip used to need a source, now it's just noise

Back then, a story had to pass some basic checks before hitting the stands. Today, anyone with a phone can make a claim that spreads like wildfire. How do you filter out the actual news from all the junk?

Yeah, it's crazy how a single tweet can become "news" without any proof, lmao.

Seriously man, it drives me up the wall. They run with the wildest stuff just for clicks, and then regular people have to clean up the mess when it turns out wrong. Makes it real hard to know what's true anymore, lol. I just end up ignoring most of it until a real source checks it out.
