Rant: I believed the tabloids about that actor's 'secret feud' for way too long

I was watching a rerun of that late night show from last year, the one where the host joked about the 'feud' between those two actors from the superhero movie. The actor just looked confused and said, 'We had lunch together last week, he's my neighbor.' It hit me that I'd been reading those 'insider' stories for months without ever checking a real source. I feel like a total sucker, lol. Has anyone else had a gossip story they believed that completely fell apart like that?

Remember when everyone said those two singers were dating? Turns out they're just cousins, felt so dumb.

For ages I was convinced two musicians in a band hated each other because of all the breakup rumors. Then I saw a video of them hanging out backstage, totally fine, and realized I'd built a whole fake story in my head from junk articles. It's wild how easy it is to buy into that stuff without a second thought.

Yeah, "built a whole fake story" hits home, I did the same thing with that actor feud last year.
