My neighbor in Pilsen kept getting parking tickets for a sign that wasn't clear

He took a picture of the sign and the street every day for two weeks, then showed the photos to the city. They threw out all six tickets. Has anyone else had luck fighting a ticket this way?

Take pictures from the driver's seat to show the sign's actual view. I won my appeal by including a measuring tape in the shot to prove how far the sign was from my car. Date stamp everything and send it certified mail so they can't claim it got lost.

That "sign that wasn't clear" thing is classic. It's like the city's favorite game is hide the rules. Good on your neighbor for doing their homework, I guess we all need to start carrying a camera now.

Photographic evidence is the only language city hall understands. Your neighbor basically had to become a part-time detective to prove a simple point. Why do we have to work so hard for basic fairness?
