Hit 500 cleanings without a single brush recall and that number made me pause

I crossed 500 jobs last month and realized I've never had a wire brush snap or shed bristles mid-sweep, which matters because a single stray bristle can lodge in a flue liner and cause a chimney fire down the line, so has anyone else kept a running count of their cleanings or am I just weird about tracking this stuff?

500 cleanings with zero recalls is honestly impressive, man.

Are they using the same protocol for every single job, or do they adjust based on the specific contaminant? That level of consistency usually means they've got their process dialed in tight. Wondering if they're doing anything special with their testing methods too, because false negatives could be a concern at those numbers. It's one thing to be good, but 500 is a streak that makes you question if they're cutting corners on the detection side.

You ever notice how some things just never fail until you start paying attention to them? @gracethomas is right that consistency like that usually means a tight process, but it also says a lot about the gear they use. Kinda like how my old truck never died until I bragged about it hitting 200k.
