I saw a solar farm in Kansas that changed my whole view on clean energy
I drove past the Soldier Creek Solar Project near Topeka last week and it was HUGE, like 670 acres of panels. I used to think solar was just for sunny places, but seeing it work in the middle of the plains made it feel real. Has anyone else visited a big clean energy site that surprised them?

My cousin works at the Buffalo Ridge wind farm in Minnesota, and the scale of those turbines up close is hard to describe. It made me realize these projects are built where the resource is, not just where it's always sunny. Seeing that much power being made from wind changed my mind about what's possible in the Midwest. It's one thing to read about it, but standing under a spinning blade makes it feel like the future is already here.

Right? That's the Midwest for you. Wind power is no joke out there.
