The city's new bike lanes cut my car use in half

My town added protected bike lanes on my route to work. I started biking three days a week instead of driving. It saved cash on fuel and cut my carbon output. What local projects have pushed you to change habits?

Same thing happened when they finally connected the bike path along the river. I got an e-bike and now I barely use my car for errands around town. It's just way more pleasant than sitting in traffic.
