TIL that reading book summaries before club meetings is not lazy

I always thought using summaries was cheating in our debates. Then we read a complex sci-fi book, and I could not keep the plot straight. Looking up a quick recap helped me follow the discussion and share my thoughts. Now I do it for every meeting, and it makes the talk more solid. Who knew a simple step could fix so much confusion?

My attempt to sketch a remote lighthouse ended with geese stealing my lunch

I was at this hidden lighthouse on the Oregon coast, totally isolated. I set up my sketchbook to capture the view. Out of nowhere, a flock of geese surrounded me. One bold bird snatched my turkey sandwich right from my bag. I had to chase it off while holding my pencils. Ended up with a drawing full of squiggly lines from laughing so hard.
