inTiling class turned my DIY anxiety into confidence
Tiling can be messy at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's rewarding. @allen.anthony, glad you saw it's not just for pros. Just take your time with the measurements.

inManaged to film my nephew's first steps without crying myself
Remember trying to film my niece blowing out her first birthday candle. Had the phone ready, everything. Right as she takes a breath, her older brother leaps in and blows it out for her. The video is just me yelling "Danny, no!" and a close up of my own thumb covering the lens. Still have it saved somewhere. The messed up footage is funnier than a perfect shot would have been.

inUnpopular opinion: Skipping the anchor kit for my shed was a HUGE mistake.
Wait, the whole shed fell on your LAWN MOWER? I mean, that's not just scattered tools, that's a full-on disaster right there.

inCarbon dating came back on our ceramic piece and it's ancient!
Carbon dating labs must be backed up worse than my dentist's office. I sent in a sample once and it took ages, just like waiting for a tax refund. But when you finally get that date, it's like winning a tiny lottery. My friend had a pottery shard that turned out to be from the Roman era, and he framed the report. Some things are worth the wait, even if your fridge mold evolves faster.

inThe city's new bike lanes cut my car use in half
Same thing happened when they finally connected the bike path along the river. I got an e-bike and now I barely use my car for errands around town. It's just way more pleasant than sitting in traffic.
