My attempt to sketch a remote lighthouse ended with geese stealing my lunch
I was at this hidden lighthouse on the Oregon coast, totally isolated. I set up my sketchbook to capture the view. Out of nowhere, a flock of geese surrounded me. One bold bird snatched my turkey sandwich right from my bag. I had to chase it off while holding my pencils. Ended up with a drawing full of squiggly lines from laughing so hard.

Geese on the Oregon coast? That's unusual. Seagulls are usually the bold ones around there, always after people's food. I remember one stealing a hot dog right from my friend's hand at Seaside. They're much more common in those areas. Your story is still hilarious though. Maybe it was a random goose, but seagulls are the typical thieves.

Watch those seagulls at any coastal picnic, they're absolute menaces. I've seen one swoop down and grab a whole slice of pizza right off a paper plate. Another time a group of them worked together to knock over a chip bag and then just went to town. The geese might show up sometimes, but the seagulls are the organized crime of the beach.

Those seagulls are ruthless sometimes.

Oh man, geese are TERRIFYING! Seagulls are just annoying thieves, but a goose has real attitude. That bird looked you in the eye and took your sandwich on purpose. It's a totally different level of bold. I'd take a seagull swarm over one angry goose any day. Your story is way funnier because of that goose confidence.
