Thinking back to when I stopped idling my car... it was a small start.

I read about the pollution and just turned the key off at lights... now it's automatic. Over the years, my fuel costs went down a bit. What small switch did you try that ended up lasting?

I started using a programmable thermostat back in 2018. Setting it a few degrees cooler in winter really cut my heating bill after the first season. Those little habit shifts do add up over time.

That thermostat move from @jana672 is key, those tiny habits really do stack up.

Cool you saved some gas money, but let's be real. Does anyone actually believe turning off your car at a light makes a dent? The big factories and container ships are pumping out pollution on a scale we can't even picture. It's nice to feel better, but sometimes these little tips just let the real problems off the hook.
