Why does nobody talk about checking your tool offsets after a crash instead of just re-zeroing
Ran a 1/2 inch end mill into a vise jaw on Tuesday and just re-zeroed Z like I always do, but the next 3 parts came out 0.008 oversize on the bore. Turns out the holder got pushed .006 in the taper and I never thought to check it in 6 years of running this same VF2. Anyone else pull the holder and clock the runout after a hit, or am I the only one who skipped that step this long?
