Overheard a kid say 'just add a semicolon' like it fixes everything
I was at a coffee shop in Austin last Tuesday and this teen was teaching his friend JavaScript, he kept saying 'bro just throw a semicolon on it' every time an error popped up. He went through 15 minutes of that before realizing the actual bug was a missing closing bracket, and I almost choked on my latte laughing. Anyone else ever had that moment where you think a syntax fix solves it but the real problem is way dumber?

Semicolons don't fix missing brackets, that's for sure.
