Finally nailed the difference between CGC and CBCS labels
After collecting for about 5 years, I kept seeing people mix up the two grading companies at local shows in Omaha. CGC uses the blue label for standard books but CBCS uses red for their standard tier, and I watched three separate buyers pass on a solid 9.4 because they thought the red label meant restored. It matters because a restored book sells for maybe half of what a raw copy does, so misreading that label cost those guys real money. Has anyone else caught sellers trying to pass off CBCS red labels as something special when they are just the normal tier?
