He left a can on my shelf and the condensation soaked into the covers. I now have a strict no drinks zone near my collection area. How do you handle relatives who don't get the value of your books?

Come on, was it really a prized stack or just some comics. Let it dry out, maybe the wrinkles give them character.

Remember when people used to put drinks on everything? My aunt ruined a signed poster with her iced tea. It left a huge ring right on the signature. I was furious but she just laughed it off. Sounds like @elliot_roberts knows how that feels with his friend's comics. Some folks just don't get it until it's their own stuff damaged.
