That overpriced omnibus finally paid for itself

Dropped $120 on a massive omnibus collection of a 90s indie series I loved as a kid, mainly for the nostalgia rush. Turns out the extra issues included arc endings I never got to read, and it totally shifted how I view the whole run. Anyone else drop big money on a collection and end up surprised by what you found inside?
