Unpopular opinion: reading a full run in order beats hunting single issues
Last month I finally read Claremont's X-Men run start to finish on Marvel Unlimited instead of chasing back issues at my local shop in Portland, and I actually followed the whole Dark Phoenix story for the first time, so now I'm wondering who else switched to digital for long runs and never went back?
I did the same thing with Frank Miller's Daredevil run, just binged all of it on Unlimited over a weekend instead of piecing it together. Reading 38 issues back to back made the Born Again arc hit so much harder than when I'd read random single issues years apart. Once you see how the whole thing builds, it's kinda hard to go back to hunting bins.
