You said his reason made you change how you do it, but you never said what he actually told you. That is the whole point of the story and you skipped it. Was it that he caught a bad habit of yours, or that his reason was something you had not thought about before? Because running a bailout check twice can be smart or it can be a crutch if you are covering for gear you do not trust. What did he say that got to you?
