DAE notice new guys treating dive tables like an app they can just refresh?
Had a kid on a job in Galveston last month ask me why I was writing on a slate instead of using an app on my phone. He said the algorithm updates in real time, like the water pressure cares about his software version. Tables and a depth gauge do not need a signal, and the day his phone dies at 90 feet is the day he learns why. What are you all running for backup when the fancy stuff quits?
