I finally tried wet curing a driveway slab here in Phoenix

Did a residential driveway last month, about 600 square feet, and decided to wet cure it with burlap and sprinklers for 7 days. I figured the extra effort would be worth it since it's so dry out here. Ended up with almost zero cracking after 30 days, which is way better than the usual hairline cracks I see on other jobs. Has anyone else experimented with wet curing in hot climates and gotten different results?

I had a 1987 F-150 with a cracked block once, sat in my shop for three years before I got around to pulling the engine. That truck taught me patience in a real different way than concrete ever could. One time I tried wet curing a slab in July with just soaker hoses, ended up with a puddle so deep the neighbors dog thought it was a kiddie pool. The burlap method sounds smart for Phoenix, though I bet the water bill made you cringe more than the labor did.

Wait hold on, the neighbors dog actually jumped into the puddle and started swimming? Thats wild man I gotta see a picture of that. Dog probably had the time of its life though, not gonna lie.
