Filled up at a station outside Reno and the pump screen still had the old 2019 price sticker under the plastic
I stopped at a little station off I-80 near Reno last week and noticed the plastic cover on the pump screen had an old 2019 sticker still stuck underneath showing $2.89 a gallon. The cashier shrugged and said corporate never sends new covers, they just tape the screen over it, which made me wonder what else on that lot is running on old info. If a place can't even swap out a price sticker, how much of what we get told about fuel costs is just old tape on a screen?
