I just read the official 9/11 Commission Report's footnote about the 28 redacted pages and it completely shifted my view on the Saudi connection.

Finding that the full classified section was over 28 pages long, not the symbolic single page many claim, made me question what else the public summary might have simplified or omitted entirely.

I remember reading the footnotes on the Phoenix Memo years later. That FBI field office warning about flight schools before the attacks was just one page in a sea of paper. It makes you wonder how many other single sheets in those files held big warnings that got lost. The scale of the paperwork itself can hide the important bits.

That "sea of paper" thing is exactly right. It's like the system was designed to bury the actual warnings in noise. Makes you wonder what else we missed because it was just one more sheet in the stack.
