Saw a guy in Kansas City run a brisket flat through a meat slicer

Nah, hand slicing is overrated for volume. Uniform slices are better anyway.

Rant: That week in June when everything went sideways on a 400-foot privacy fence job

Funny thing nobody talks about though - 12 feet off could actually save someone money depending on where the error was. Like if that extra 12 feet was on the back property line and backed up to a greenbelt or something, you might end up with a bigger yard than you paid for. Had a neighbor who's survey was off by about 8 feet into a drainage easement nobody used anyway. He just kept it quiet and enjoys the extra space for his garden. Your buddy might want to double check which direction that 12 feet went before getting too upset.

Why does nobody talk about how soggy air fryer wings get?

jenny_lane12's fridge trick is probably the real deal, but honestly I've got the attention span of a gnat so I'd 100% end up eating one of those raw wings halfway through the drying time... Not that I've ever done that or anything. I usually do 375 for 14 minutes flipping halfway and they come out alright but yeah after sitting for a bit they get that sad steamy thing going on. Maybe I'll actually try the fridge method next time if I can stop myself from snacking on raw chicken first.

Changed my mind about those fancy arc fault breakers after a 3-month apartment rewire

Nuisance trips happen with all kinds of wiring, not just mixing brands.

Stopped by a truck stop in eastern Wyoming and watched a guy rebuild an injector pump with a butter knife

That butter knife probably wasn't even the sketchiest part, I bet he tightened it back down by feel alone with no torque wrench in sight. 20 minutes flat though, that's the kind of luck you only get when you're miles from a parts store and have zero other options.
