My neighbor's 3 AM radio theory made me second guess everything about the moon landings
So last Tuesday I was out on my porch in Tulsa and my neighbor Dave comes over ranting about how the 1969 transmissions had a 2 second delay that matches Earth to Moon lag, but he claims the video feed was too clear for the technology they had on board. He pulled up old specs for the Apollo TV camera and said the bandwidth just wasn't there, which got me digging into the actual data rates, and now I'm torn between the official story and the idea that they might have used some kind of relay satellite that was never disclosed. Has anyone else looked into the raw telemetry numbers from those broadcasts and compared them to the ground station logs, or is Dave just feeding me garbage from a YouTube rabbit hole?

Ha! Dave's clearly got too much time and not enough sleep on his hands.
