My uncle swore JFK was shot from the grassy knoll, then I showed him the open manhole cover on Elm Street
I got into it with my uncle Ray at a family cookout in Toledo two weekends ago. He's been on the grassy knoll theory for like 20 years, has the whole thing memorized, and he kept telling me the shot had to come from the fence because of the angle. I pulled up the actual Zapruder frames on my phone and walked him through the storm drain, the one on Elm Street right by the underpass. There's a whole set of photos from the 60s showing the manhole cover was open that day, which means a shooter could have been down there, not behind the fence. He just sat there quiet for a minute and goes, I never heard about that. The thing is, people argue about the knoll and the depository for hours and skip right past the drain, which is a way easier spot to hide and get out through the tunnels. I'm not saying I know who did it, I just think the debate keeps missing the spot that actually fits the timeline. Has anyone else dug into the drain stuff or is it just me and a few guys on old forums?
