Noticed a shift in how people verify UFO footage now vs. 2015

Back in 2015, I used to just watch grainy clips and read the comments to decide if something was real. Now I see folks pulling metadata, checking flight radar apps, and even doing 3D modeling on their laptops. That change hit me last month when someone debunked a Phoenix video in under 2 hours using a free tool I'd never heard of. Does anyone else miss the simpler days, or is this level of scrutiny actually making the community better at finding the truth?
