Hot take: my 19 year old nephew called my laser level 'extra' and now I can't stop thinking about it
He was helping me frame a small garage in Boise over the weekend and watched me pull out my rotary laser and tripod for a 12 foot wall, then asked why I don't just use my phone. I tried to explain that a bubble level and a laser just work when your hands are full and there's no app to freeze up, but his face made me wonder if I'm overcomplicating a 2 hour job. Does anyone actually use those phone level apps on real jobs, or is it just me being old and stubborn?
