Spent $900 on a drone for site surveys and it's already collecting dust

I mean, I watched all the demo videos and thought it would replace my total station for roof measurements on these smaller commercial jobs around Tulsa. First flight was fine, but the mapping software glitched twice and the cloud processing fee is another $60 a month I didn't plan on. Has anyone else dumped money into this and just gone back to manual measuring, or am I missing some setting that makes it actually work?

Man, that drone tax is real... but what kind of roofs are you dealing with that the point cloud isn't matching up on, flat or pitched?
