The job site tablet that died right before the final walkthrough

So last Thursday we were wrapping up a kitchen remodel in Portland, and the client was 20 minutes out. I pulled up the punch list on my old rugged tablet to do one last check, and the screen just went black. Dead as a doornail, no warning, no charge left, nothing. I ended up printing the list from my truck laptop and doing the walkthrough on paper like it was 2010. The tablet was only 3 years old, but I guess the constant dust and drops finally caught up with it. I'm looking at a new one now, but I'm wondering, how do you guys back up your job site data when your main device craps out mid-project?
