Told my foreman that tablet checklists would save us time, and 3 weeks later I owe him an apology
Our foreman Rick has been pushing back on going digital for a year, saying paper punch lists never run out of battery. I finally got our super to buy 6 tablets with the checklist app and handed them out on a Tuesday. By Friday we had 4 cracked screens and half the crew was still printing everything anyway. I spent $1,800 on this and now Rick just walks by my desk smiling. Anyone actually gotten a crew to stick with tablets or should I just accept we are a paper company forever?
