Vent: My crew switched from old paper site plans to a tablet setup and it's been a total game changer

Everyone on my last job in Boise kept saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' about our rolled up paper plans. We tried a rugged tablet with digital plans for a 4 week foundation project. The difference was huge. We saved about 90 minutes every single day because the foreman could mark up issues right on the screen and everyone's tablet updated instantly. No more running back to the trailer to check a detail or dealing with wet, torn sheets. The paper method is absolutely broken once you see how smooth digital can be. Has anyone else made this switch and had to convince old school guys it's worth it?

Our concrete crew saved two hours daily after switching.

But @rowanw11 has a point, paper can still work fine for some crews.

Who thought paper was fine until you saw the time saved?
