Visited a jobsite last week and saw a crew using those little drone surveys

They mapped the whole foundation pour in like 10 minutes flat, something that used to take a guy with a total station half a day. Has anyone else seen these things speed up layout work on your sites?

Nah, "10 minutes flat" means they're skipping all the critical checks a real surveyor would catch.

Jessem59, saw the same thing and watched them miss a grade stake entirely.

Feel for you, seeing a crew blow right past a grade stake is frustrating when you know how important those markers are. Funny how they always seem to be in a hurry but end up costing more time fixing mistakes later. Hope the project gets straightened out without too much hassle for everyone involved.
