I finally fired a client on the spot on a Saturday and it was the best thing I did all year
Last Saturday I had a bride in Scottsdale show up 45 minutes late to her trial with unwashed hair and told me to just make it work for her 10am wedding the next day. I said no thanks, packed my kit, and walked out, which I have never done in 7 years behind the chair. Has anyone else hit that point where a bad booking is worse than an empty slot?
How did you know it was the right call before you even got to the parking lot? I always wonder if the money you lose stings less than the dread of dealing with someone who won't meet you halfway. Good on you for knowing your worth.
