Blown $900 on a used crane camera system that was a brick

Picked up a supposedly working camera setup from a guy in Tulsa last month, saved money over new, but it lost signal every time the boom moved past 60 feet. I tore down the whole harness on Saturday and found a corroded connector hidden behind the cab mount. Anyone else had luck with aftermarket wireless kits that actually hold up?
