Dropped $40 on a 500 prompt PDF that was just ChatGPT mad libs, save your cash
Bought a "500 Unique Story Prompts" PDF from a writer on Twitter for $40 back in January, thinking it would solve my blank page problem. Turned out 400 of the prompts were the same fill-in-the-blank junk like "A [person] finds a [object] in a [place]." A free list I found on a Reddit thread had more variety. The worst part is I could have made the same thing in an afternoon with a spreadsheet and some random word columns. If you see any prompt pack over $10, ask for a sample page first, most of them are copy pasted lists. Has anyone actually found a paid prompt bundle that was worth it, or is it all recycled stuff?

I spent $25 on a "viral" prompt pack last year and half of them were literally Mad Libs with the brackets still in them. So yeah, we're basically paying people to pirate a Reddit thread and slap a Gumroad link on it.
