Stuck on a prompt for 3 days, then stole a trick from my kid's bedtime routine
I kept writing these big dramatic prompts and getting nowhere, so I tried something dumb: describe the scene in exactly 5 words before writing anything else. First try was 'dog waits, owner never comes' and I had a full story in 45 minutes. Curious if anyone else does a word limit warmup, or is that just me being lazy?
