Dropped $89 on a credit repair ebook from a guy in Dallas who promised a 700 score in 45 days
His sales page had a countdown timer and fake screenshots of scores going up 120 points, so I bit. Inside was 40 pages telling me to dispute everything even stuff that was real, and my score went down 22 points when two disputes came back verified. Anyone else get burned by one of these credit gurus, and what did you do to fix it after?
