Thought that 'credit sweep' company was a total scam until my landlord in Phoenix pulled my report

I paid $199 to a place that promised to wipe old evictions and honestly almost backed out, but 60 days later my FICO jumped from 512 to 630 and I got approved for a lease in Tempe. Has anyone else had one of these actually work, or did I just get lucky?
